Adidas Golf Web Site

Leagas Delaney asked spyplane to work on the adidasgolf.com web site, the creative for which was to mirror an already-running print campaign.

Like the ads, almost all of the pages on the site were based on an underlying grid with a small cluster of photos, with type set in varying sizes of OCRB.

After the design of the major site elements were completed, Photoshop files were handed over to Leagas Delaney for them to produce in-house.

A redesign of the site (which I had absolutely zero involvement in) that replaced the spyplane version was one of the ugliest web sites I’ve ever seen. It’s now long gone, fortunately, with something easier on the eyes there currently.
